Monika Schaefer works in clay, fibre, and metal to create art that is inspired by everything around her. She often incorporates humour into her work and loves to share her talents & techniques by teaching workshops to others.

Artist Bio

Monika Schaefer is an award-winning, multidisciplinary artist working in the mediums of pottery, wool fibre, copper wire, and more. Her Carlisle studio is packed with creations ranging from ceramic garden sculptures, mushrooms, flowers, her ever popular sink pots and flower pillows, vases, thousands of buttons and pins, as well as shawl rings to felted scarves, dryer balls, and tapestries.
