Artist Statement

Hi, I'm Angie Trkulja, The Artful Blingster, and I'm wire weaving my path as an intuitive copper jewelry-maker right here in the heart of Burlington, Ontario. I’m self-taught and have honed my skills through trial and error. When I’m not lost creating in my studio, you’ll find me trekking through local trails, travelling, meditating or playing my tongue drum! My inspiration is simple…life and nature!

Artist Bio

Wayne Dyer once said, “My goal is not to be better than anyone else, but to be better than I used to be.” My work is constantly evolving as the desire to try new things drives my imagination and pushes me out of my comfort zone. From wire wrapping to metal forming to soldering to who knows what’s next? This is what keeps me engaged and motivated. Each piece of my pure copper wire wrapped jewelry is lovingly created and is as unique as the individual who wears it. No design is ever duplicated so clients are purchasing truly one-of-a-kind wearable art.
